I have visited this place many times now and never have I returned without spending quality time there. May be yesterday was the 100th time I visited Aspire Park and every time it has something to offer.
Aspire park is the biggest park of Doha with all the amenities for the sports enthusiasts. Incase anyone is under the usual resistance of not able to start daily fitness routines, this place is a must visit venue for them. It has a lot to offer. There are 5 to 6 circuit trails for running, walking, cycling and jogging. The best part is these circuits keep you engaged with spectacular themes and visual displays on the tallest tower of Doha which is situated in the park towering high into the skies, the Torch Tower. It is a 5 star hotel which keeps changing colors in the night skies. There is 360 degrees revolving restaurant at the top in this hotel.
There are workout equipments for various body workout installed around this park which spans more that 85 hectares with green lawns, exquisite water fountains, a bridge, international standard outdoor sports arenas, Wrestling training center, Football coaching hub, Aqua Center, Aspire Zone World Class Sport Complex Rock Climbing training center, Khalifa Indoor stadium and outdoor stadium which have been renovated. One of the venue stadiums for the FIFA 2022, The Khalifa Stadium is situated beside the Torch Tower. It seems that this stadium was built in the year 1976 (DON’T MISS Click the link for the video: Khalifa Stadium 1976). It is the stadium which hosted the Asian Games, The Gulf Cup and the AFC Asian Cup. It is loaded with 40,000 seating arrangement and is a symbol of Qatar representing Promise for the Sports future.
There are Bi Cycle rental shops in Aspire Park incase you want to cycle around and explore the park. In between the park there is a big lake with lot of ducks adding to the serenity of the place. The moment you are in this park you will connect to your self within. This place is the best place to be with friends, family or even with self, reading books, painting, writing and working out. Recently there are lot of eateries and cafes have opened up on the avenues inside the park ambience which serve quick bites and hot beverages.
Be assured to get a feel of European ambience right in Doha. There is a lot more about this place such as the Grand mall Villaggio designed just like Venice. It has Gondola ferry which will take the visitors through the waterways. The entire ceiling of mall is designed to resemble the fresh morning sky with “cotton candy”. So you get transferred to a completely contrasting ambience as you move inside the Villaggio mall. The visitors can shop the well known international brands and Designer editions of world class standards. There is a cinema multiplex which has more that 10 movies hitting the screens each week ranging from Arabi, English, Hindi, Filipino, Tamil, Telugu, Nepali and other languages catering the entertainment of all the expats in the country.
So the world of Aspire as I have experienced cannot be summarized in words as certain experiences can only be shared by physical presence more than reading through words.
