HUMAN IS LOOSING NATURE AND SELF.......
The first name which comes to my mind when I hear about Eco Villages or Eco Community is Auroville.
Auro Ville is India’s best known Eco village internationally.
The Mega Cities like Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai etc, may attract most of the visitors from other countries or Internationally, but the majority of Indian population resides in villages. They are the true examples of SUSTAINABLE LIVING. When the people residing in the urban areas get over bothered by the Fast pace of city life, they look for a way to connect with their inner being.
The best way to connect to the inner self is by putting yourself in between the True creation ie MOTHER NATURE. Get yourself surrounded by thick vegetation, trees, birds, fresh rivers and lakes, fresh fruits and vegetables gifted by nature with love, reside in mud houses with roof made of dry grass and straws. Learn to sustain the LIVING in direct connection with NATURE.
So when the entire human community follows this trend of Living culture, the most pressing problem of today, the Environmental condition can be resolved.
The modern day Developmental activity which originate in Urban Sectors is destroying the balance of Eco System which is intern affecting those who are in it. The result is Global Warming, extreme climatic conditions, flood, draught, imbalance in the nature, water scarcity, gradual extinction of prime species etc.
ECO SYSTEM simply is the community of nature. The plants, trees, birds, animals, water, earth soil, air, mountain, other living organisms, marine life, etc share the environment for their living, Sustainance and reproduction. Our planet EARTH is a Mega Eco System on a Large Scale. When the Eco System is sustaining and reproducing then its Health Eco System.
Destruction of ECO system : This has become the human culture since almost 60 years and its getting extensive day by day. HUMAN Development is directly leading to heavy Pollution of the natural reserve. This is directly leading to Destruction of the Mega ECO System, Planet EARTH. Eco System destruction is already happening.
I came across an article which mentioned that 25 to 30% of Coral reefs are disappearing. As the oceans are getting heavily polluted its affecting the Marine Life extensively.
It seems more than 20 Billion tones of resources from earth has been extracted in the last 6 decade.
Almost 6 Million Hectars of forest have been burned and cut down. Many Species have become extinct due to this. This is all because of the Industrial Developmental activities and present way of Human Life which is causing pollution of the environment and imbalance in the natural conditions of the planet. There is a visible condition of over usage of Natural Resources.
It seems we are using twice the Earth Volume of natural resources means we have 1 Earth but we are using up Twice the Planet Earth.
ALARMING SITUATION: WE NEED ALMOST 2 PLANETS TO PROVIDE NATURAL RESOURCES AND ABSORB OUR WASTE
Human Developmental activities are all about more industrialization, building infrastructure by cutting down forests, building roads, commercials and residentials, animal poaching, littering our environment with plastic like arrogant beings. Then we all blame the other instead of becoming responsible ourselves. We keep continuing the same.
MARK IT : WE WILL SOON BE RUNNING OUT ON MOST OF THE VALUABLE RESOURCES IF WE DON’T STOP.
